Our Story
Thirty years ago, a mother and her son had a dream.
It was simple at first: a place where people could come together, share a great cigar, and share a little bit of life with each other.
On October 19, 1996, Armando and his mother Elena opened Aficionados. Thirty years later we're in a 4,000 square foot lounge with twelve screens, a full liquor bar, and a 900 square foot walk-in humidor — Elena is still here, and none of it happened because of us. It happened because of the people who kept walking through that door.
On Saturday, January 16, we're throwing a party to say thank you.
