Thirty years ago, a mother and her son had a dream.
It was simple at first: a place where people could come together, share a great cigar, and share a little bit of life with each other.
On October 19, 1996, Armando and his mother Elena opened Aficionados. Thirty years later we’re in a 4,000 square foot lounge with twelve screens, a full liquor bar, and a 900 square foot walk-in humidor — Elena is still here, and none of it happened because of us. It happened because of the people who kept walking through that door.
On Saturday, January 16, we’re throwing a party to say thank you.

What the night looks like
- Food from three kitchens — sushi, smash burgers, and Mediterranean
- Live music all evening
- Twenty-plus cigar manufacturers in the room — not booths. Actual reps from the brands you already smoke, on the floor, shaking hands
- Walk-in humidor tours and one-night-only pricing
- A raffle with prizes from our humidor
- A full liquor bar, indoors and under the tent
The toast is at 8:30
At 8:30 the music stops, 1996 goes up on the screens, and Armando and Elena — the son and the mother who started this — stand up in front of all of you. Then everybody raises a glass. If you come for one moment, come for that one.

- Tickets are limited. When a tier sells out here, it is gone.
- Free parking on site.
